Terms and Conditions
At Bob's TV, we know that once you purchase that new HDTV, appliance, or any other product, you want to start using it right away. This is why we do our best to ship and deliver your product as soon as possible. Most online orders usually ship within 1-2 business days (unless otherwise noted). Even though orders ship immediately, it may take an additional 24-48 hours before tracking information is available from the carrier.
Smaller items such as most LED/LCD TVs 50" and under, most audio products, TV stands, smaller appliances, and accessories ship via either USPS or UPS or FEDEX. See below for information regarding the shipment of large appliances, Plasma TVs, LED TVs 55" and up.
We offer Free Shipping on almost everything. Free White Glove Delivery is also available on many televisions and Appliances. Please refer to individual products to see if either of these services are offered.
Oversized items such as TVs (larger than 55") and heavy furniture are "Threshold Plus" deliveries, which means the item is delivered to the first dry area such as a street level front door, garage or apartment building lobby. Threshold Plus deliveries are not brought into the house or brought up any stairs. If you would like an upgraded service, see below.
White Glove Delivery
Our White Glove Delivery service includes the following:
- Delivery of product up two flights of stairs inside the home or office (each flight is a maximum of ten steps).
- Placement into the room of your choice. Please Note: Delivery to high rise buildings require prior arrangement and may incur additional charges.
- The delivery team will unbox the TV for you to inspect, plug in, and power on to ensure the TV screen is undamaged. If there is any physical damage to the product, do not sign for the product and refuse the shipment and call us right away. The delivery team will not assemble stands or place the TV on a stand. No assembly is provided at delivery.
- The driver does not remove the box or debris. We strongly recommend that you keep the box and packing for up to 30 days. Returns without the original box and packing will result in additional packing fees.
Please note: Assembly of stands or pedestals is not included. White Glove Delivery can only be made to the room of choice, provided it can be done safely and without the risk of injury to anyone or damage to any property, at the sole discretion of the delivery personnel. Please contact us prior to your shipment if special services are required, additional fees may apply.
Large Appliance Delivery
We offer two types of appliance delivery services: Local and Curbside. See below for a description of each.
Free Local Delivery
Free Local Delivery is available within 20 miles of our distribution points in our appliance markets on new appliances $499 and up. Product must be in stock in our local distribution center at the time of purchase. These deliveries can be done usually within 1-2 days of your order. GE Appliances are only available in CA and MI local delivery areas and are delivered directly by GE so the delivery time may vary depending on zip code and availability. Mileage limits apply for free local delivery. Call 866-387-9973 for more information and availability.
Appliance(s) are unloaded from the truck and dropped off at the curb of the house or apartment building. You will be required to move it inside yourself. The appliance(s) will not be moved up or down stairs/steps. This type of delivery is used for items sold by Bob's TV on third party websites such as Amazon.com. Please allow 6-10 business days for delivery.
HDTV Shipping times are usually 3-7 business days from the date the order shipped provided item is in stock in your local distribution center. Remote or isolated areas may take longer. Appliance shipping times are stated above.
Free Shipping and White Glove Delivery are available in the contiguous 48 U.S. states. If you live in a remote area or unsure if it is considered rural or remote please contact us to see if our trucking companies services your zipcode. For Alaska and Hawaii deliveries, please call 866-387-9973 for a price quote.
All Free Shipping/Deliveries exclude deliveries to areas such as islands requiring ferry access or isolated areas which may require additional time or resources to deliver.PLease call for zip code list of isolated areas requiring ferry access and additional delivery fees. If you live in one of these areas, we will contact you prior to delivery to make arrangements for an additional fee.
While Standard Shipping or White Glove Delivery may be offered at no charge, please be advised that once you have confirmed your delivery window, there will be a $70 charge for each re-delivery attempt for reasons related to unavailability of an adult recipient or delivery site or any reasons outside of our delivery promise.
Appliance and TV deliveries are scheduled for Monday thru Friday only. No weekend or holiday deliveries.
Some orders may require multiple shipments if not all of the product(s) you ordered are in stock at the same Distribution center.
Adult signature required for all Oversize and Appliance deliveries.
If you intend to have an item shipped to an address other than your billing address, to prevent shipping delays, please register the shipping address with your financial institution prior to placing an order. This is a precautionary measure we have in place in order to ensure your safety and deter fraudulent credit card activity.
As you can imagine, shipping a TV or appliance can be very delicate. We have partnered with delivery companies that specialize in delivering oversized items to ensure your product arrives safely. However, there are still very rare occasions when the television or appliance may be damaged during transit. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT YOU INSPECT THE PRODUCT FOR DAMAGES BEFORE THE DRIVER LEAVES. Accepting delivery indicates there is no physical damage. If the product is found defective for any reason other than shipping damage, the repair will be covered per the manufacturer's warranty. Once the product arrives, we ask that you:
- INSPECT THE PRODUCT. If there is damage to the product, then refuse delivery and ask the driver to return the product to us.
- On HDTVs, we highly advise that you keep the product packaging for 30 days in case of a return or exchange.
- If you are unsure what to do, please call Customer Service at 866-387-9973 while the delivery driver is there.
Store Home Delivery
- Free same day delivery offer applies to all in-stock TVs $699 or more purchased by 12pm and within a 20 mile radius. Delivery charges apply to all demo, closeout and open box items. Free Delivery does not apply on Special Purchase, Clearance and Closeout Items limited to stock on hand and cannot be combined with other promotions or finance offers.
